Some of you might look at the comparison within the photograph above and assume very little of the bodily differences. However, the 1890’s canine scull on the left most certainly had very little to no health problems. He most certainly lived a very long, glad life and then handed away from old age.

The speediest insect on our planet is the Tiger beetle – a quick and agile predator common to brownfield sites. With massive eyes and huge mandibles, it is clear that this beetle is a hunter. Unusually for insects, the tiger beetle is as quick on the wing as it is on foot – with reaction instances corresponding to the home fly (extensively considered one of many quickest reacting animal on the planet). Whilst a prime velocity of 5.6mph (8.4kph) might not seem fast, in comparison with body length these animals are round 22 times faster than humans.…
